The Iseo 52N electric rim lock is a versatile, surface-mounted locking solution designed for inward opening metal pedestrian gates and wooden residential entrance doors. It is part of the Serie 5 range and being electrically operated, can allow remote release via a push button or integration with standard intercom systems, making it ideal for controlled access environments such as apartment blocks or private properties. The lock includes an adjustable backset, configurable at 50mm, 60mm, 70mm or 80 mm and supports multiple internal operation modes such as key only, button only, or combined key and button control; allowing installers to tailor functionality to the specific application. The 52N is latch only, internally opening with reversible handing and comes supplied with three keys. Operation: The electric pulse releases the latchbolt, opening the door or gate. Opening from external side: the latchbolt is always retracted by the key. From internal side: the latchbolt may be retracted with the key (lock set to cylinder only function) or from the button (lock set to button cylinder or button only function).
