So, what exactly is a Cylinder Lock?

A Cylinder Lock is a lock that contains the keyhole and tumbler mechanism within a cylinder. Because Cylinder Locks are constructed within a cylinder, which can be easily unscrewed by a locksmith, the mechanisms can easily be accessed if the lock needs to be rekeyed at any point, without altering the boltwork hardware. One advantage of this is that the lock can be changed without it interfering with the hardware.

With their unique, patent pending technology, Break Secure XP Cylinders offer four individual high security innovations that have all been designed to work seamlessly together in order to offer complete anti-snap protection for your property.

Garrison XP is the world’s very first cylinder to be awarded the much-coveted BSI Kitemark TS007 3 star industry rating, as well as the recently revised Sold Secure Diamond SS312 Standard – and it’s easy to see why (even if we do say so ourselves!).

The Garrison Break Secure XP has been proven to resist even the most intensive and prolonged methods of attack, including lock snapping, drilling, picking, key bumping, pin or cam manipulation, and pulling and twisting of the cylinder body.  Garrison Break Secure XP Cylinders have been expertly designed to ensure complete peace of mind, providing the optimum level of protection.

Garrison Cylinders

Garrison locks supply a full range of cylinders including everything from “Yale type” rim cylinders and UK oval cylinders, through to euro cylinders, Scandinavian cylinders, and mortice screw-in cylinders, in all sizes and types. We also supply Master suite systems, which are designed and supplied for all Garrison locks, including our van security lock systems. 

Garrison Break Secure Cylinders

Garrison Break Secure Cylinders offer another cost effective way to upgrade existing door locks and keep both your van and your home safe and secure. These are locks that can be DIY installed, See how to install a Euro cylinder.

Standard Garrison Break Secure Cylinders are designed to snap in the event of an attempted break-in and, once it has snapped, it will have to be replaced. As with all Garrison locks, the break secure system can be supplied on a single differ key, a keyed alike system where one key fits all or master suite, all of which are fully designed and supplied in house. To install, simply remove your existing standard barrel and upgrade to Garrison Break Secure, easily, efficiently, and with the minimal amount of effort!
