  • Operation: Closing the door automatically engages two latching bolts. To open from outside turn the key and to open from inside use the lever handle. Turn the key to lock/unlock the deadbolt in the centre case.

This FUHR 833 Type 4 auto locking latch with deadbolt and 2 latches has 35mm or 45mm backset, 92mm centres and a 16mm faceplate width. GearboxLatch & deadbolt split spindle gearbox with 92mm centres.  Additional Locking PointsIn addition to the locking points within the gearbox, the full length strip has 2 latch locking points.  Faceplate16mm wide faceplate, ideal for use on UPVC & composite applications.  Locking Point Distances Locking Point Distance A = 717mmLocking Point Distance B = 772mmCroppableThis full length unit is croppable to allow the strip height to be reduced to suit the door it is being installed into.  HandingThe latch can be reversed by locating the Allen screw on the side of the lockcase, in line with the latch. Remove the screw, pull out and reverse the latch, and refit the Allen screw. OperationLocking Method - Closing the door automatically engages the latch bolts. To open from outside turn the key to retract the locking points; from inside use the lever handle to retract the locking points. The centre deadbolt is locked/unlocked by turning the key.
