The ERA SureFire Latch & Deadbolt Single Spindle 2 Hook 2 Latchbolt multipoint lock is available with a 35mm or 45mm backset, 92mm centres, a 214mm case height and a 53mm or 63mm case width. The centre case incorporates a latch and deadbolt arrangement with single spindle operation. The ERA SureFire range of multipoint door locks is designed for easy and reliable locking. Simply closing the door activates the trigger and automatically engages all locking points. The locking mechanism pulls the door tightly into the frame, helping to provide secure locking and reliable weather sealing. It is approved to PAS24 and BS EN 1670 and is Secured by Design accredited. It is also supplied with a 10 year manufacturer's guarantee. AccreditationThis product complies with PAS24 and BS EN 1670 and is Secured by Design accredited. IdentificationThe unit can be identified by a rectangular plate with 2 rivets within the hook locking points, visible when extended. It also features a snib beneath the gearbox latch to deadlock the latch, along with additional latchbolts beneath each hook locking point. GearboxThe latch and deadbolt gearbox features a single spindle, with a case height of 214mm and a case width of 53mm or 63mm. Additional Locking PointsIn addition to the locking points within the gearbox, the full-length strip incorporates 2 hook locking points and 2 additional latchbolts. Faceplate20mm wide radius faceplate, suitable for composite and timber door applications. Overall faceplate length is 2100mm. Locking Point DistancesLocking Point Distance A = 715mmLocking Point Distance B = 680mmCroppableThis unit cannot be cropped on site. Please check the required overall length before purchasing. HandingThe latch can be reversed by placing a screwdriver into the rear of the case directly behind the latch. Push the latch forward and rotate it to the required handing. Sprung/UnsprungThe gearbox is sprung and incorporates an internal spring mechanism to assist lever return, removing the need for sprung handles or a separate spring cassette. OperationLocking Method - E. The unit automatically locks when the door is closed and is unlocked using the key or internal handle.
