The ELITE Automatic Auto Locking Lever Operated Latch & Deadbolt is a high-performance slam shut door lock designed to automatically secure doors without the need to lift a handle or turn a key. Manufactured in the EU, this exclusive locking system features three deadlocking latch bolts that engage automatically when the door is closed, with triggers activating the top and bottom latch bolts for secure multi-point locking. Engineered for increased protection against attack, the self-locking elements prevent manipulation once the door is shut, offering immediate and reliable security. Suitable for both composite and timber doors, this lock is ideal for pull handle applications where keyless exit and automatic locking are required. The lock comes in straight and radiused end options for a professional finish. With a 20mm faceplate, this lock is designed to fit a wide range of door types. Finished with Elite Silbear Surface Protection, it offers over 480 hours of salt spray resistance (EN1670 Grade 5) for superior corrosion protection in harsh environments. Backed by a 10 Year Mechanical Guarantee, the ELITE Automatic Lock delivers lasting performance and peace of mind. IdentificationThe locking points have a snib to auto-fire the locking point latch bolts and the gearbox is situated higher up the strip than an ordinary multipoint lock. GearboxThe latch & deadbolt gearbox has a single spindle, a case height of 200mm and a case width of 54mm or 64mm. Additional Locking PointsIn addition to the locking points within the gearbox, the full length strip has 3 dead bolt locking points. Faceplate20mm straight or 20mm radius wide faceplate, ideal for use on composite & timber applications and is 1.77m or 2.2m long. HandingThe latch can be reversed by removing the screw in the latch, taking the latch out, flipping it to the opposite hand, and refitting the screw. Spung/UnsprungThe gearbox is sprung and incorporates an internal spring mechanism to assist with lever return, removing the need for sprung handles or a separate spring cassette. OperationLocking Method - A. Lift lever to engage locking mechanisms and then one full turn of the cylinder to lock. One full turn of the key then push down on the lever to unlock.
