The Abloy Eff Eff 352M.80 is a high-performance electromechanical locking solution designed to enhance security on escape route doors while maintaining compliance with safety regulations. Engineered for silent operation, it features a prism-shaped, motor-driven steel bolt that engages seamlessly with a round strike plate and counterpart, ensuring a smooth, low-noise locking and unlocking process. The system supports both vertical and horizontal installation, making it adaptable to various door configurations, including wooden frames, double-action swing doors, revolving doors, and interlocking systems. It operates on a controlled DC voltage range of 12–24 V DC, with a holding force and safe unlocking capability under pre-loads of up to 5000N, ensuring reliable performance even under stress. Designed with safety and monitoring in mind, the 352M.80 includes integrated monitoring contacts and armature contact sensors, facilitating real-time status reporting and system integration. The fail-unlocked mechanism ensures that doors can be opened in the event of a power failure, aligning with emergency egress requirements, and is compatible with models 351U and 351M, offering flexibility in various security setups. When installed in conjunction with an escape door system where the lock has been tested as part of the whole system this lock is certified according to EltVTR and EN 13637 standards and is suitable for fire doors compliant with British Standard BS476.
