Thieves are gaining access to the vehicle by forcefully replacing the ECU with a second ECU (SEE OUR ECU GUARDS!) and a matched key, unlocking the driver’s door using the remote, then forcing the old ignition barrel out and replacing it with a 2nd barrel and then driving away with the vehicle.
