1: The method of Euro lock cylinder snapping
Basic euro lock cylinders are snapped within 5-10 seconds and involves snapping the front of the cylinder exposing the door lock mechanism, This is then manipulated with a screwdriver to unlock the mechanism allowing access to the property.

4: How do I know if I already have anti snap locks
The easy way to check to see if your locks are insurance and police approved is to remove the cylinder to check the cylinder body for 3 stars and BS kite mark. This is easy and instructions can be found here: How to remove a Euro lock cylinder.
It is important to know how to identify your locks are insurance approved as failure to comply to your insurance companies requirements may invalidate the policy. Non 3 Star rated cylinders do not have a sacrificial snapping point or 3 star kite marks, see images below:
